I've made it!

Sorry I'm a bit late on posting but I just wanted to send out a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped, donated and supported me in my latest adventure!

I made it safely to Ireland and I officially start classes this week. It's only been about two weeks but I'm already a bit homesick. I know that once I get involved in studying & clubs/societies, I'll really be able to enjoy myself!

I love my room & apartment complex.....my roommates....ehhh not so much...(with the exception of 2) Haha but that's a lonnnnnnnnnnnnng story. I'm hoping that situation gets better & fast because as internet sensation, Sweet Brown would put it "ain't nobody got time for that"

Everything is extremely green here because of all the rain; it's like looking at something in HD! The scenery is beautiful!

I have a couple of trips planned that I'm pretty exited for.

I've already been on one fieldtrip so far. It was fun, rainy, hailing, windy & exhausting but I had a great time!

I've met people from SO many places, including other Americans. Just to name a few regions: Germany, Austria, Australia, Lithuania, Belgium, France, Canada, Nigeria, Poland, Holland...& I'm sure there's more that I'm forgetting.

It's a bit of a culture shock being the foreigner of an area but I know I'll get through it & it will be a blast!

HELP ME!!

Hey everybody!

As you may or may not have heard, I'm going to be going to the University of Limerick in IRELAND  for the Spring2014 semester!!

I've been accepted to study abroad with a program through my school, CSULB (Go Beach!)
I've been blessed to be given this opportunity and I couldn't possibly be more excited (or nervous, to be honest).

University of Limerick is a very prestigious school and it is known to have a great Sports Science program and as a Sport Psychology major, it would be the perfect place for me to study & learn a bit about my Irish roots ;) !

Unfortunately though, since this has all come about so soon and last minute, I haven't had the chance to save up money to go! So now I'm kicking it into gear trying to save up what I can and fund raise as much as possible so that I can come up with about $6,000-$7,000! (soooo much I know)

That's where you lovely people come in! :)

I'm asking that if you are able, to help me raise money for my trip by donating whatever is in your heart to give!
